Pressured by Obama Administration, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel Quits

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel has announced that he will step down from his post once a replacement has been found. He was reportedly encouraged to resign by White House officials after he made statements that seemed to contradict the Obama administration's talking points on ISIS.

According to The New York Times, the former Republican Senator Hagel had been asked to step down from his post by officials within the Obama administration after he made comments in August that contradicted the President’s messaging on the conflict with ISIS.

This admin sure seems to have a problem keeping its rats on board its ship! Seems those closest to the POTUS are all bailing. Whose next? Kerry and Jarrett?

You don't believe this, do you? I don't buy it...now for one second.

The Obama Administration is being silly and disingenuous. Of course, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel was fired. The Administration is pretending it is something else saying 'he is resigning." Yeah...resigning after the President asked him (and if he didn't?) That is called getting fired.
And why do I think he got fired? Because the President called ISIS jayvee in the New Yorker while his Secretary of Defense said "ISIS is an imminent threat to every interest we have...this is beyond anything we've seen." In other words, he made President Obama look bad, read bad...so...Hagel got the target on his back.

Actually, the ones closest to Obama are not the ones getting fired. That is the problem. The ones getting fired are the ones telling the truth and telling the truth is rare in the Obama Presidency.

The BIG picture is those fired or stepping down are in the highest echelons of this admin.... his mouth pieces, veteran combat generals, and those privvy to the inner workings, policy debates, personality, and agenda of this POTUS and his admin.

Think about it! What we get is the white wash the media is "allowed" to spoon feed to us.... and we are being shovel buried under that!

Is there an agency or department of this admin that isn't wrapped or shrouded in controversy or scandal?

How can we expect to move forward (gee, where have I heard that term....?) when this POTUS and his admin is constantly and consistently back-peddling?

Obama is liar therefore his whole administration is built on Lies.
What is to be expected.

Leadership is needed in the Oval office.

op just wasn't doing his job its not all the Presidents job to know whats going on ...thats why their are people appointed to let him know...also he was a holdover from the Bush administration as a republican...on well another one bites the dust lol they need leadership in these positions and respect... so unfortunately he did not have either of them ... and I am sure he will be getting a job somewhere else in the repub party ... really don't feel bad for him at all ...

The "leader" of our nation is SUPPOSED to know or be aware of EVERYTHING pertinent to the workings and safety of our nation.... but you have to read or attend your daily briefings to do that (which this POTUS averages less than 40% of),,,,,,not hear about it on the news as this POTUS always claims as his excuse!
