Beautiful then, more beautiful now
 ...This verse is from a poem I wrote a couple of years ago... I am just a woman With lines upon my face Each one tells a story Of life, of love, of grace... Mo, I hope the spirit of Christmas filled your home with happiness this year....Wishing you a Grand New Year!

Remembering, this seems to be the season for remeniscing. I placed this photo on my desktop because I wanted to remember when the pages of my life book were still blank. Today, when I look at the world around me it has changed so much or perhaps I am the one changing.
I had a dream when I was a young girl, as most young people do, I wanted to be a good wife and mother, to be responsible and soft spoken. I learned skills necessary to be a homemaker, keep house, cook, bake, sew, garden, and preserve the harvest. I never really had any other dreams, I never thought about being a teacher, nurse, singer, entertainer, traveling around the world or any of the things young people dream of doing. {A smile tickles my face, I find a bit of humor since the best made plans do not always unfold as we would like.} |
