Hardly any snow this year

It's only a "sad" thing if you like snow sports (skiing, etc), own a sports store w/an overstock of snow gear, own or work in a winter resort, own or work in a business that gets overtime for cleaning up snow. Or maybe if you have a snowman fetish LOL!

For the rest of us it's great to have a "dry" winter, although that could mean summer drought if the reservoirs don't fill up by May or so. I don't like wearing boots anyway so I'm thrilled my part of the world got let off easy so far but winter is not over yet.

why cry about what one has no control over.

I come from the "My Fair Lady" school of polite chit chat...when in doubt or meeting a stranger for the first time the only polite topics are the weather & your health & in the movie she still managed to mess it up LOL!

Move to the USA. We have plenty of snow here.

sum cry when it rains, because they can't golf, when without rain they them self would die.

I was raised in Michigan but I live in Myrtle Beach, we don't get snow and I don't miss feeling it , but I miss seeing it.

We got snow on Christmas...was wet fluffy snow...day after and so far through today we got high speed wind and 4degrees...24 more Mondays till summer..

We've had one coating of it so far but it's still brass monkeys.

We had 2 inches of snow Christmas day.......
Wow 2 degrees? I'm thinking 22 is cold.... What us Californians might be wimps but I did get in a good day of skiing at heavenly valley in Southlake Tahoe 6 feet on top..... I love the wall they call it, strait down for 250ft and giant mogels...... Serious air...
