Perhaps if the Repulsicons get rid of their version of Slimy Reid the peoples legislature may actually start acting on their behalf once again? Who would you like to see in control of the House of Reps? |

From Brietbart: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/01/06/boehner-could-face-biggest-speaker-revolt-since-1923/ House Speaker John Boehner’s GOP opponents will try to take him down Tuesday. The defections Tuesday appear as though they could be more significant than at any point since 1923, but Boehner has one major advantage amid the revolt: the biggest GOP majority since the 1929-30 Congress. The GOP’s 246-188 advantage means Boehner can lose 29 votes before we can even talk about him being in real trouble. That’s because, were that to happen, the opposition would need to rally around a single alternative to have a chance. The last time significant defections were common — in the 1910s, ’20s and ’30s — it was more common for other candidates to be officially nominated, often by progressive members who bucked the two major parties. Progressive members in 1923, for example, cast 17 ballots for Republican Rep. Henry Cooper (Wis.) and did so for eight straight ballots, depriving Gillett of his majority until the ninth ballot, when they relented. |

Perhaps if the Repulsicons get rid of their version of Slimy Reid the peoples legislature may actually start acting on their behalf once again? Who would you like to see in control of the House of Reps? I hope they do get rid of him. This past election voters showed they wanted a change mostly because of the Fuhrer and his policies but also Republican leadership with voting out Eric Cantor. We need fresh leadership and Boehner needs to go, unfortunately I don't think that will happen. We have a great Congressman here from my district, Mark Amodei but he's only been in two terms so he doesn't have a shot even though he would be great for it and he is in one of the safest districts most Republican leaning in the district that has never elected a Democrap to Congress and never will. He is also not a hard core right winger, a military veteran and JAG officer, accomplished lawyer etc. I don't know anything about the two people running against Boehner but I think one of them should drop out because they are going to split the vote and apparently they only need 28 votes to get rid of him. |
