And outside of his show, you have no idea how much time the guys actually works or what he actually does on a weekly basic.. how could you?. Are you at the "National "Re" Action Network"..because anything short of that is a guess on your part.

,,,the same way you know how uncomplicated his 'mom and pop' taxes are,,,

,,, lol

I know he puts in enough time to do a radio show(daily) and a television show(daily) and organize events and summits for his Chicago organization and travel to different individuals in between when they need someone to ensure their voice is heard

I don't need to know EXACT hours to understand that would be time consuming

all of his work has to do with civil rights, because every venue he works in he uses to address them,,,,

you are posting about how complicated his taxes are, by assuming

so I feel free to do the same when posting about how much he works

,,and I have had experience in the area of recording and video broadcasts too,, so I have that perspective of the time and 'work' it requires,,,like you do how complicated it is to run A business

Go figure..... and an Obozo supporter too!

Thanks goodness you're an exception to the rule!

Hopefully.....or we're in worse trouble as a nation than I thought!

now why hit reply on something that you post no actual response to?

quoting was a waste of space,,,,but most adhominem responses are

laugh laugh laugh laugh

anyway, anything to disagree if one doesn't vote how you think they should,,,,,,

nice to have a place to vent,,,,,

my communication here is a nice sort of venting too,, so

touch.. and back at ya (with the exception of bashing who you choose to vote for politically) .lol

Yes, You seem to do a lot of surmising.. when it fits

I base my tax and business statements on fact and 30 years of running business's... from the ground up You see, Ms. At one point, my business was "Mom & Pop" size.. that is were you start out. So I do know how uncomplicated the process is. I do know how impossible it is to " forget" to pay such taxes as payroll tax.. for multiple years. And I know a corp. shell game when I see one. You know basically nothing about corp. taxes or preparation but you chose to claim that they are complicated in a attempt to defend Sharpton's irresponsible actions.

In one post, you stated that you work in a finance dept., the next you stated your work is in a classroom.. fine. When you can tell me that you teach tax ( or business) in that classroom. then your statements on those subject will be taken seriously.

and yet, you don't have experience with Sharptons Taxes,, only your own

I have years of experience with different types of broadcasting/recording and the hours that go into that work

I have years of experience as well tagging along with career social activists and action networks, and the work that goes into it

Im making a common sense assessment of the things that are documented and easily researchable as Sharptons activities and work,, and there is PLENTY,,,

I am nearly fifty, so I have done more than one job and worked in more than one field,,,,I don't need to teach tax, I am the daughter of an accountant and I work in the finance field where some knowledge of business and tax is required

Im not here to compare experience or knowledge, its not even that serious

I can simply research the list of different things this man is SIMULTAENOUSLY involved in to make the assessment that his taxes would be complicated and that he works hard

You are the daughter of a accountant...did you work with your father? I am the son of a longshoreman.. but I do not know how to unload a container vessel.

But I do agree that Sharpton could be a leader... he would certainly be at the top of the class of the people below

I went with my mom to work often, yes. I also spent time with her at home where she did work, yes. I often went on business trips with her and was the type who asked a lot of questions,, yes.

I also was following in her footsteps by pursuing an accounting degree in college,,,,,,

and like I said,, all that is neither here nor there to my two points

1.he works HARD (evidenced by how many different tasks he has taken on and my experience in witnessing the time and effort required in those types of tasks

2. He has tax responsibilities for MANY different entities, and in several different jobs. which would very understandably lead to taxes that are complex and complicated

,,,,and since the IRA doesn't release SPECIFIC details about individual taxpayers,, no one here really knows how or why he has acquired the backtax/liens, nor his intentions, nor specifically what his interaction/agreement with the government is in response to it

I do know he has worked for DECADES, and he has, since his list of tasks got larger, increased his tax liabilities

out of decades of work,, for a couple of those years to find him in this trouble, doesn't negate his character,,,,in my opinion

u are welcome to assume the worst of him based upon the tidbits u read about his taxes though,,

Most legit businessmen would use a tax accountant.....but then Sharpie has a habit of not paying his bills as well so probably can't find one who will work for him.....

tax accountants can make errors too

still dont know WHO actually does sharptons taxes,,,,just that taxes are owed,,,

I wonder how many bills he has and on average how many are paid and current compared to those which are highlighted in media when they are unpaid?

guess we will never know,, negative press makes so much better for the gossip and chit chat,,,
