I disagree that it's not creative. Actually, what you could have, if you revisit what you've posted here, is the beginning of a story. Or you could make poetry out of it. And if you choose not to do that, it's fine the way it is. Very nice.

Very nice
Long time back I was very crazy about poetry crazy beyond limits.... more crazy as I was finding myself helpless helpless bcoz was supposed to concentrate on studies It was important to study study was all about engineering It was important to study at least for being capable of earning livelihood at earliest at earliest bcoz of the poverty everyone advised - leave it man....poetry won't quench your hunger! it was true....!! it was also true that poetry was quenching my thirst.... but I left it behind....as thirst was only mine.... my all beloved ones were hungry One day I burnt all my poetry..... collected its ash in a small box.... kept it in my study table drawer for several days cried many nights...... ..............and some day I forgot.... ....forgot about the existence of that ash box..... .......that was the end of the poet inside me..... Now I'm well settled I had everything I was supposed to have.... I have plenty of time enough money no hunger no thirst no craze no passion............ and no words............ |

While I can surely understand that putting something on 'hold' is a wise decision until the study was over. It is a real shame that you burnt your poems.
