UPDATED: March 9, 2015, 3:30 p.m. Eastern: In a direct statement to us from Scott Gration, he maintained that he was fired for the "use of Gmail in the US Embassy,"and claimed that the Inspector General's report, "Contains many egregious lies, falsehoods, and distortions on a variety of subjects."

"I hope the following details help to set the record straight on my use of a commercial email account during my tenure as the US Ambassador to Kenya," Gration said. "My experience was somewhat different than Secretary Clinton's use of her commercial account, yet I was "fired" for the use of Gmail in the US Embassy, my insistence on improving our physical security posture, and other twisted and false allegations."

While the report from the Office of the Inspector General claimed that Gration ignored State Department instructions and "willfully disregarded regulations concerning the use of commercial email for official government business," he tells us that he made an effort to have his "unclassified State Department emails" and his "Gmail messages displayed as separate accounts on the same State Department Blackberry."

Those commercial emails can pick up viruses that can be a threat to the embassys intranet & routers

what I heard she did nothing illegal and many others have done the same in government for yrs ...she gave all she had... they are trying to get something on her that might stick so if she does run will have a hard time ... put after the latest on what the GOP did ... disrupted and possibly hurt our national security in foreign affairs... they went over the Presidents head ... and sticking with the letter sent to Iran ... and what they said back to us ...oh my goodness
this is really not funny but as they are saying GOP hit their all time low ... I am thinking Micky Mouse could run now and win over the GOP for any of them as President ... and to top it all off... this has never happened in the history of the United States ... and they said Obama is a embarrassment to our country ... well wow what they did is unforgettable and will stay all the way to through the election ... they did not unite us ... and that is what has gone terrible wrong ...from them doing this and the very first time they all did not stay together on foreign policy's ... ever ... that's cool... I am crazy anyway so ...I will be voting for Micky lol that is how absurd this is ...
