When you fall off of a horse, the best thing you can do is get right back on.

It doesn't have to be the same horse.

It's easy when the relationship didn't mean anything.

Meeting and interacting with new people is healthy.

Wallowing in self pity is not healthy.

That's just not true. But I said it's easy when it didn't mean anything! What is YOUR point?

Find a new interest or hobby. Go to the gym and meet new people there. I would not bounce into a new relationship immediately contrary to other advice. Give yourself time to move on but stay busy so you don't have time to dwell or tempted to go back or contact the previous relationship.

Ignore the advice of anything coming from no1phD. Bad bad juju. He is not to be believed. laugh

without thinking about it much, i'm guessing there must be about fifty ways to leave your lover

You Just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just listen to me
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

That's a gay song.

I don't think it's easy either way.....it is still a change in your life and change is never easy......but I think if you were in a relationship you did care about the person at some point so there would still be some feelings....even hatred is a feeling....and that can be hard to get over too.

Bouncing out, what a way to describe a long term relationship that you've had.
