I don't know why honesty is mostly rewarded by cheating .
every time you being honest ...will end up being fooled.

Honesty is supposed to be its own reward.
If you are expecting something else in return for honesty then it's not really being honest.

every time you being honest ...will end up being fooled

Being honest and being fooled are 2 different things.

You again!

My friend, there is nothing in the "Being Honest" handbook that requires you to be a fool.

The reward of honesty is a light spirit.

Let cheaters and charlatans trudge around with the heavy weight of deceit on their backs if they choose.

Be honest. If your partner is not equally honest or dedicated to your relationship you have choices:

1. Leave them to their devices in search of the relationship you desire.

2. Stay and be miserable.

Honesty in one direction makes for a bad match. That is all there really is to it. Some people can't handle honesty while others can't seem to be honest. Luckily there is honest people out there.

I would rather be honest and have them be honest with me then we can deal with it.
lies add more lies then more lies. A never ending lies. Is that what you want? Could you trust them after you found out by someone else?

Sorry I disagree. Just happened to me. But after roughly one year of living hell to try and force myself to move past the multiple betrayals I found out about all at once (well a couple week period)..... I came to realize there's about 3 kinds of people out there. 1) loyalist who are built on values deep in their core, 2)people who have great intentions but subject themselves to lust provoking situations which they think they can control themselves until the F up and then dive all in from there, and 3) (my favorite) the people who just don't give a hoot for who's lives they impact. The families destroyed. The terrible pain caused and what it takes for the other party to recover from that.... Yeah these people are just wonderful.

I guess I wish people were more blunt with me. I like it when they get to the point, rather than letting it unfold very subtly and slowly. Leave the liars to stew in their own sweat juice. They'll either learn or they won't. Why bother trying to put it right, if it's clear that they don't care? They're their own worst enemy.

I believe in total honesty...
In saying that Honesty is subjective to the person
One person will believe they are being honest another will do the same.
Somewhere in between is the glaring truth of the matter.

I also believe honesty is a wonderful thing to practice til it becomes a weapon. Then it becomes corrupted and tainted.

I don't believe if each person is being honest they can be fooled.

I do my level best to always be honest and in doing that I have complete freedom to be who and what I am.

If someone lies and betrays me that falls on them. I have a choice accept it or not. Mostly likely I am not going to accept it.

No - that is very subjective; it might apply in your few examples of life lessons...but that can't be held true for everyone!

I'll always hold out the hope that everyone is being 'HONEST' with me as I am to them; until they burn me that first time --- then I'll be aware that their moral code is always up for bid to the highest price!
