My question is how BAD a lawyer did the family have that can't get a slam dunk case of police brutality and criminal negligence settled IN court for multimillion dollars?

Cops hit the WRONG HOUSE, find NO DRUGS, almost kill an INNOCENT CHILD, and have the balls to claim that an infant failed to deflect the incoming ordnance like some kind of baby ninja and is to blame for it's own injuries?

Your lawyer can't somehow SHRED the cops to pieces in both the legal court AND the court of public opinion to generate a 5-10 million dollar settlement?

Wow. Unbelieveable.

i was thinking that how bad can everyone else be to even suggest such a thing? the county commissioners are on board with this? the others that live/voted these waste of people in office are ok with this? the government is ok with this? where is the FBI investigating these aholes at?

You would be really upset if you knew how hard it is to get any kind of civilian review or agency review of just about anything.

The average person has and attention span of a nat and the follow through of about as long as it takes to tie your shoes.

You go to county commission meetings and the like sure you will see people rant and fuss but they don't follow through. Most people don't have a clue how much tier elected officials get paid or what they waste tax monies on.

And the process to get anything looked into is so messed up iti is like asking the fox to watch the chicken coop.

One time many years ago I got licensed by and agency to be a foster parent. I thought oh cool this is a program to protect the most vunerable of children and I gladly went though what I thought would be a rigorous process. Give me a break. I could have been Lizzy Borden holding a bloody axe and they would have dropped off kids and never looked back. It took me only a few weeks to document all kinds of gross misconduct but it took me almost three years to get the agency shut down. I called/mailed/visited everyone from the official state channels to the media right down to the weather man. I think if I hadn't just happen to catch them on a slow news day it would still be going on.

When you start talking about agencies being shut down, services being interrupted, or or it actually taking more money tax payers want it swept under the rug and will make a whistle blower pay for it if they don't give up.

Sadly a broken system is still better than no system.
