Hey My Friends of mingle2,hows things been since my last post, you all alright, you know I care about my Followers or what I call my "Opinion Minions". okay, good I want to talk about imperfections of the visual. What that means is would you date or marry or create some form of happiness with a person who's handicapped, blind, mentally health, a dwarfism or Little Person or deaf & any kinds of special needs. Me, I want everybody to understand those individuals are people too but as a society we would like to think we can look past these visuals but there's a lot of folks behind closed doors or among the circle of peers wouldn't. So I'm let my "minions" ask me if I would give special folks like this a chance...honestly, i would. I love anybody who would take the time to give me a chance and look past my persona & see I'm a good catch.....yeah i would . but now I want to know where you coming from on this topic. "Would You". again, I want to give shots out to all who's disabled, special needs,& handicapped, your man 2fly think you guys a re wonderful and you on my gold star list.....so rock on okay, later!

to me i am more to lean on what is on the inside
granted most of us guys like something pleasing to the eye
where as females look more to the inside then males do

and who is to say they are handicapped
all most all the so called handicapped (labeling not done by me) have picked up more on other parts then the what some people call normal (not a fan of the word normal but <shrug>)

but to me they can be a model on the outside and be rotten on the inside (i have dated 2)

but any who i am rambling
just all depends on the person and what they do for fun
i haven't met any blind people that like to sky dive (as a bad exzample)

to me we are all human

I'm not looking to make a martyr of myself for the "special needs" of someone else.

With online dating I've met people where it's turned out they were, as you describe, having "special needs," and dating them was just awful. Just having special needs doesn't entitle someone to anything, nor guarantee their non social facade is pleasant, or have any depth.

If I was already in a loving relationship that was otherwise healthy and stable and "special needs" happened I think I would stick around.
Mostly out of duty, loyalty, responsibility, with some love or whatever emotions were there. But I know I would never look at my 3rd or 4th degree burned and horribly disfigured lipless and eyelidless wife and say "I don't even see it! I only see the girl I married!" or something like that.


Dating should be easy for you then.

I mean there are tons and tons of halfway houses, group homes, and there's always hanging around outside of jails and prisons.
They're chock full of people, there's a lot of turnover there too, so you meet different people.

And if you got a job with dial a ride or something? That's like having dates every day.

Plus, you know what? You might be very successful with reforming drug addicts.
They have a ton of special needs and need someone to just look past all that meth mouth or whatever to see they're a good catch with some issues.

I don't think a lot of people utilize that method of meeting people so it's a vast untapped dating resource.
