A woman cave is the entire house biggrin, that's why they need a man cave. Garage would not work as a man cave in my house, I spend a lot of time there, tinkering and such.

My man cave would be a screening room. I'm more of a film buff than a sports guy, anyway.

Was meaning I hear a lot of guys say that they need to be alone. Or do not want their partner to be with them. I know a Man Cave is a decked out area where you can have fun. But, I was really meaning why does a man want to be in a relationship yet say they need time away from their partner? Must be a bad relationship.

I am not saying only Men do this or act like they need a break, I know a few females that say that also. But, from what I have seen of others in relationships when a partner prefers to do things alone... it is not good for the relationship.
And if that is the case... then why do they stay in it.?

I finished off my garage, I have my bikes out there, .. couch, work bench, tools fridge.. big screen and some good tunes

Kind of like a driving your motorcycle right into your living room.. similar.

Not at all. Not if two people are in a secure enough relationship that they recognize that they have probably been spending way too much time together. Time apart can actually be a healthy thing between a couple, even if they're in the same house but not always having to be in the same room.
Everybody needs a bit of space.
Unless their needy and clingy which is really....ugh!
If I ever built a Man cave, my significant other be cuddling on the couch with me watching Shakespeare or Star Wars or Marvel, whatever!
It would be awesome! And there'd always be popcorn, cuz really who doesn't love that?

I am all about having some time to myself at times. I really am not talking about a room in the house so much as I am referring to the partner going out.... for days... saying they need sometime alone. Any comments

And I'm not in that relationship just trying to understand why someone you might be meeting online (not in person) would tell you that the woman needs to understand that she is not always included on these outings (time alone) and that he wants to be Part of her life not her whole life. What does that mean?

I don't take over what is not mine, but I won't give up things that i enjoy. If I was working on a bike or car, it would be my bike/car, unless he wanted help with his.

I've always thought of a man cave as a room the man chooses the contents and decor in. Beer signs, car pictures, sports memorabilia, what ever makes him happy, and he should have a room like that. Where he can put his feet up on any piece of furniture he wants to. a lot of the time many of the rooms in houses are decorated by the women. She wants things to match, and there's pillows, and sometimes frills.

I have my art studio, and I would not want someone to tell me how I should arrange it, get mad cause I got paint on something. Nor would I want someone hanging over my shoulder, commenting on what I'm doing, or needing constant reassurances.

If it's not simply a little alone time, and it's instead avoidance of the other person, I would say that is an issue.

I liked spending as much time as I could with my partner as only live as self once and wanted to be with the one I loved as much as I could !
Don't a person have personal time all the time in there own mind that how I see it that's my personal time my own mind !
