I still don't know _who_ might have tasted human flesh in order to validate the comparison using personal experiences.

That doesn't follow. Being able to chemically sense something doesn't require that the organism always catabolize the thing at every opportunity.


More specifically, the human digestion system cannot recognize DNA. The hydrochloric acid and enzymes treat it all the same. Unless the food contains undigestible or poisonous compounds, the flesh is all treated the same.
