Molly Shattuck, Ex-Ravens Cheerleader, Pleads Guilty to Rape Charge By Matt Fitzgerald-Featured Columnist Jun 16, 2015 Former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Molly Shattuck pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree rape Tuesday, reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors. The plea mandates that Shattuck undergo sexual disorder counseling and register as a sex offender. She cannot have contact with minors other than her children without supervision, and Shattuck is prohibited from contacting her victim. The Baltimore Sun's Ian Duncan and Kevin Rector reported the news in Georgetown, Delaware, which came from a hearing in the state's superior court. Prosecutors allege Shattuck had a relationship with a 15-year-old who was a classmate of her son's at the McDonogh School. The relationship allegedly began in May 2014 when Shattuck reached out to the teenager through Instagram. Shattuck, 48, faces up to 15 years in prison. Her sentencing is slated for the middle of August. From women teachers to this incident...has Im on a local forum and there is hardly a month that goes by w/o one of these types of articles posted.....and its mainly just my state stuff. 90% of the time its a female teacher also. Maybe it happened in my high school days also....I do remember a rumor in my high school about a student and the choir teacher. this always been an issue among those young male students but they kept quiet or is this just something gone array since about 15 yrs back? Maybe its exposed more now because of the availability of computers, smart phones, social media, etc......Idk, but it sure SEEMS more prevalent. |

I remember a young handsome music intern my Jr. year; he really WOWED my peer group and he fell in love with a Sr. {her sister was my BFF}...they started dating that spring prior to her graduation and it was all kept very 'HUSH-HUSH'. He could have been discharged - lost his teaching credentials - not been allowed to get his final degree in Master Music...{circa 1971} They're still married and happily-ever after...but it was precarious for both of them! But these 'COUGARS' are 20+ years older then those barely teenage boys...UGH

The carnal knowledge of a juvenile charge will be held open until she completes the terms of her probation on the obscenity charge. Both are charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile in Kenner, Louisiana. Respass’ attorney has said that his client has denied all wrongdoing. What in tarnation is 4th degree rape? Did she fail to climax, did he...? Statutory or indecent liberties I could see but I don't believe that a judge or any jury selected anywhere there are cheerleaders could prove that she sisboombah'd him against his will. Impossible.
I think this has gone on everywhere but people and governments have stopped trying to bury the cases because the claims of criminals suicides and victims who later went on to sue for very large sums of money make the embarrassment the better financial decision in the long run. Cities towns States, etc also no longer identify with the teachers coaches etc because they know that they are easily replaced and they want to send the message that they don't condone or allow this particular type of relationship. It happened in my school with more than one staff member and as much as it was talked about among classmates the only consequence I know of weren't legal in nature. No pun intended. Last I heard it was legal in Alaska to marry at the age of 14, unless the rest of the country adopts this I think this will continue to be an issue. |

Women go for the long term, preferring to build the relationship. In law enforcement, they need results for their budgets. That means they need the Chris Hanson thing of talking to someone online, and within a few minutes hours or days show up at some strange girls house. Not much in the budget to pay someone to sit online for months or a year trying to build up a complex pseudo relationship for each woman, then lure them in to get busted. But plenty in the budget to pay for one girl (or boy) to sit online and talk to hundreds of guys, cutting and pasting simple answers, offering immediate gratification to get 5 to show up per week. It's always been an issue. But the way the system works now, it under reports women and makes it seem far more rare than it is. When men get caught it's usually because of numbers. Doing so many different kids, eventually you're going to get caught. When women get caught, it's usually because of carelessness, of having so much relationship crap like love letters, or text messages, evidence of an inappropriate relationship. I don't know. Which do you see worse? One guy molesting 200 kids? Or a woman in a continuing relationship with one or a couple of kids for years? A one time event with a ton of kids? Or a lasting event over the course of the kids development? Just can't fathom WTF these woman are thinking...WHY - WHY - WHY! People are just presented with it being rare for women. So they react more negatively. Guys? They're dogs, it figures, it's more common, so just send em away and forget about it, throw away the key, just saw 10 guys sent off by Hanson last week. But women?!?! WTF are these women thinking...why why why! WTH is going on within those 'Lesser Thinking Women's MINDS! |

Married Mother - 25yr old Kourtnie Sanchez trial Preliminary hearing held for teacher charged with unlawful sex crimes June 22, 2015 Emporia Gazette Newspaper The preliminary hearing was held June 12 for Kourtnie Sanchez, who is charged with six counts of sex crimes with high school students while she was a student teacher at Marshall Elementary School in Eureka. Three teenage boys, ranging in ages from 15 to 17 at the time of the alleged crimes, took the stand, one at a time, while the rest of the witnesses, including one parent, were sequestered in the hallway. They each testified that Sanchez, 25, communicated solely through Snapchat, a popular photo and video texting application. It was disclosed in court that there were over 500 Snapchat records between Sanchez and one victim. Their stories were all similar, with the communication beginning innocently with small talk, but the case was the same with all three, that it gradually escalated to Sanchez sending nude pictures and then requests by Sanchez for sex. One boy testified that Sanchez invited him over to her house, where they had sexual relations. One teen testified that he had plans to and the third said he stopped communications before anything else happened because he felt it was wrong. Sanchez’s husband, John Sanchez and Eureka JR/SR High Principal Stacy Coulter, also took the stand to answer questions. The crimes are alleged to have taken place during an eight month period from May to December, 2014 where Sanchez also coached junior high girls basketball and volleyball as a Rule 10 coach for the past two years. Sanchez was discharged from the district on December 12, 2014. Coulter testified that Sanchez denied all allegations when she was terminated. Charges include three felony counts; unlawful sexual relations, solicitation of unlawful sexual relations and electronic solicitation. Sanchez is also charged with three misdemeanor counts of promoting obscenity to a minor. If found guilty, the felonies could result in sentences ranging from 11 to 247 months each, or over 20 years. The misdemeanor crimes could be subject to probation or up to 12 months in the county jail. District Magistrate Judge Ross McIlvain presided over the hearing and found that there was enough evidence to bind it over for jury trial. Arraignment is scheduled for August 13 in front of Chief District Judge David Ricke.
