If you study the history of the space program, you will notice that the Apollo Program had the most successful and powerful rockets ever! One has to wonder "If that was such a great rocket, why aren't they still using them?" Well, the Saturn V rocket engines (called the F1) are back! The new rocket will use two instead of five of the engines but still be incredibly powerful. The Saturn V rocket produced millions of horsepower and the fuel pump required 50,000 horsepower!

The link gives the story of how the old hand welded engine is being reverse engineered using a new version of the 3D printing/welding process.
