She (?) sent me an email... I asked her (?) where she got my email address from, and she (?) told me that she got it from Mingle2...

Uh, I better not find out that you folks are either giving out member email address without permission, or that your system has a hole in it...

I don't know why this person would lie... and she (?) could have no way of knowing what site I am on...

I've been on Mingle a long time... This has never happened before...

I expect this to be investigated with an explanation provided to me... I can forward the email thread to you, if you want it...

I agree this does sound weird but I have to say I have been here a lot longer than you and I have never ever gotten an email from someone that somewhere some how I hadn't talked to and given my throw away email addy to...

Since you have been here a long time could you have given it to her and forgot about it. She may have talked to you a few months ago or longer. And you forgot about it.

I am just trying to come up with some answers because this is the most bizarre thing I have ever heard on this site...

As it would not be possible for her to get it off of M2, and I
have not seen her email discussing it, it may be semantics here.

I popped your M2 username into Google and got your full name,
location, etc, with a referral to FB..and referencing M2.
Where anyone can get your email address.
I do not know that THAT email address is the same one as the one
you are discussing.

She may also have gotten from someone on M2 to whom you gave it.

You should go ahead and send that email privately to Mark or
Charles so they have something to go on.
