i am not a big believer in long distance relationships or anything on that level, however looking at some that have developed on this site and being able to see the end result has inspired me to give it a try.

Long distance is ok I guess, unless you end up chatting with someone who is fake for a few months just to find out it was all a waste of time ^_^

I do believe some long distance ones work. My mom and step dad are a story to make me a believer. Didn't take us long to move here to be with him but still. It was a chance they took.

I want to try the long distance thing but can't seem to convince this one of it. So time will tell and if its not time, its distance...

I dabbled with ("blundered into" might be a better way to phrase it) a couple of LDRs last year, and my only advice is to be careful and watch for the proverbial red flags. My two were a pair of the most dishonest, deceitful women I have ever run across, outside of my ex-wife. I know not everyone is like they were (well, I hope not!), but I would not do it again.

I'm hoping yours works out better than mine!
