At one point, the suspect repeatedly kicks the handles on the safe before eventually leaving.

'As far as other than damaging property and putting out a lot of effort, there was no positive for him,' Nevada Police Department Sgt. Steve Bastow told KCTV. 'He got away with nothing.'

Police said he brought a bag with him and that little information is known about the suspect because his identity was concealed in the unitard.

Authorities were notified of the incident after an employee went to the sandwich chain to open the store and discovered that someone had forced their way through the drive-thru window, the Joplin Globe reported.

The suspect made a number of attempts to open the safe by punching in numbers on the keypad before giving up and exited through the drive-thru window, according to police.

'Even though he was dressed strangely, the crime is still very serious,' Bastow said. 'It was kind of a first for us here. It's standing out compared to all the others.'

I heard the smurf burglar was part of an international organized crime syndicate consisting of the butt pirate (aka fanny bandit) and the hamburgler.
