Oh yea - I grew up in the late 50's and 60's, I remember this kind of stuff.

"A homosexual is a person who DEMANDS sexual realations with their own sex."

"All homosexuals are not passive, some resort to violence"

"Public restrooms are a common hang-our for homosexuals"

You should have seen some of the stuff about lesbians.

I grew up with that, imagine how much I hated myself, always wondering if I was 'psychologically unbalanced'. Always afraid that someone might find out.

This was the kind of propaganda that served to instill a mind set that continues today. The suicide rate of teenage homosexuals is enormous, even today.

How do we get the phobia out of a population who still believes what films like this are saying?

I think they got child molestors and gays mixed up.......

Sorry to hear about that crap Red, tho I don't think its just homosexual's who are most suicidal (i know more about that subject than I will ever admit sadly )
