of a S/O you might meet ... but have not yet ... feel them so close to you loving that feeling of closeness together holding each other ... but can not see their face or body ... but know their name ... that's it ... just a name ... had this dream a while back ... not sure how to take it ... but still not met the mysterious man with only a name to go by ... I have really never dreamed like that before ... is he what I might be waiting for ... or my next new love in my life ... or just dreaming could mean nothing ...

Hmmm Yea a couple times I had this serious feeling that my life was in for a serious change for the plus in my personal life.

I don't know if it was just knowing preparation was ready for opportunity or I actually dreamed it but yea I have told very close friends my single days were numbered when Mr.Right had not quite arrived.

I don't think I ever knew his name before I knew him.

Makes me think maybe your angels know you need something more concrete to give you some self confidence or maybe help to skip a few toads. I think if you really meet the right one you will figure out if it is the name or some indirect suggestion. Maybe the name you are seeing in your dream will have some place in the search but I doubt if it is the actually name. Least I would wait to buy anything monogrammed.

I actually have, not with the feeling of being lovers though. And I met him online only a few days later, and he indeed had the same name as the man in my dream.
We have not been lovers, he's married. But we do have a very special typical connection. I'm quite sure we are soulmates (soulmates aren't necessarily lovers). We don't talk very often anymore, but we still know where to find each other. And we have met in RL a number of times as well. Me staying at his place with my kids, him and his missus staying at my place etc.
We used to video chat on MSN each morning before he had to go to work. Just a brief chat, both of us still with bedroom hair and stuff, lol.
Really a thing you'd do with a lover I spose, and we were extremely close, but very close friends, not lovers. Soulmates.
Funny thing was, whenever I was in chit, he contacted me. As if he'd sensed that I was in trouble. And whenever I saw his message or heard him, I got this huge smile on my face and everything seemed alright again.
Very special person and I'm grateful we met.
It's the only time I dreamt about a man with a specific name and actually came across him in RL.

I had dreams like that, never got a name though. So if you know their name why didn't you put it in the thread? It might help you find them, just a thought.

Well damn . Instead of some unknown name, cropping up in a dream, it happened in a nightmare. One where I was back at school, and the named man, was holding a gun to a classmates head, and I seen it all happening, through a classroom window. The lights were on, inside of the classroom. I can still picture it even now. I remember having to Google the name 'Stephen' in my nightmare. I couldn't remember his surname. Not that I wanted to. . And when I woke up, my mum's house was dark, and everyone had went out. I quickly ran to put all of the lights on, as it was just getting dark outside, around 5pm. I just wanted to scream, then faint out of pure shock. I always had horrible night terrors, while I was on a certain antidepressant. Luckily I don't know anyone who has the same name as the terrorist in my nightmare. .

I believe that some dreams have meaning, some are produced by our active subconscious mind, or it might be our inner desires, and others could be through mental telepathy. I have dreamed kindah like that also, but has no name and face but has a distinctive clothes, and that dream has sent me a warning about my suitor. I seldom dream, but most often they are very clear and when i try to think about it in a deeper way, I see some connections in my present life which gives me some warnings or enlightenment. I have also experienced dejavu before , where a place, a person or a situation where I have seen in my dreams and have encountered in real life after, it feels weird yet amazing how you could travel in a dream:)
