You can't come back from being a joke. You could see Tammy every Saturday at the open-air flea market/mall in Palm Desert, CA, before she passed away. She was hawking these "I ran into Tammy Faye Bakker at the Mall" t-shirts that were all huge eyelashes and makeup smeared all over them, I tell you, they were hilarious :-)
