You're welcome Ma.

Man, this week has been very hard for me. I've been eating a bunch of stuff I shouldn't.

Mainly because I had no food on hand like I normally do.

Ever since I started my (style of eating change) in July, I refuse to call it a diet for obvious reasons, I keep on hand fruit, breakfast bars and low calorie prepared meals for lunch and dinner, and snack packs.

This entire week I had nothing because I didn't go to the store and stock up. I'm the type that wants to eat all day long and I have accepted that fact. So, I keep stuff on hand that I know won't hurt me.

My drawer at work is chocked full of these 100 calorie snack packs. I buys these dinners from our grocery store Dominicks
that are about 250 to 300 calories. As long as I have this stuff on hand, I am good to go. But when I'm without it, I eat whatever is available which is normally not good food.

Being prepared is aa big part of mine and your plan. Don't get caught like I did this week with nothing on hand that will keep your weight in check like I did.

I need to lose about 30-35 pounds to get to my ideal weight. I have a gym membership I do not use. The good thing is my job now has a fitness center that will be open on the 13 so no more excuses for me. I'll be there about every day.

wow i am glad i found this. i decided last night that i am back on a diet yet again. i am tired of looking like this and it's high time i do something about it...i do really well for a while, i just lose my motivation. i have tried every diet pill known to man almost..(except the alli. i wanna check that one out...) and it's not that i don't get out and do stuff because i do stuff all the time...i am not really sure what to do, but i plan on sticking to this. i need to this..not only for myself, but for my son as well.

Hi Becca.

Well, in my opinion diets alone just do not work. There is no magic bullet method. And most diets peddled are in my opinion crap...

It's a combination of things. Eating less junk food and high calorie foods, trying to exercise 3-5 times per week, healthier lifestyle...

When I worked at my last job, instead of going to a lunch and stuffing myself with typical fast food crap I started going outside for 30-40 minutes. And then ate my sandwich at my desk while working :-D

I am not a big fan of diets, and pills that mess with one's metabolism frankly scare me...

yeah i've been there and done that with the pills too..most of them just make me flat out jittery or nervous all the time..i don't like that feeling at all. i need to do something about this now while i am still motivated...i have been walking at least a mile almost every day for a while now and i do feel much better. i am going to keep that up and try to eat more healthy and see what happens from there.

Thing is it is much more important to be average and healthy than thin and sick.

Walking a mile a day is a good start.

Anything that gets the butt moving is not bad in my book laugh

Also, I keep saying to substitute the junk foods and snacks with something else.

In my case, cereals do the trick. They fill you up, many of them have fruit, raisins etc in them, and they gotta be better than say snickers bars...

Has anyone tried the Master Cleanse Diet ?
Did it work ?

I have never tried it.

I haven't tried it but I would think that anything to cleanse the colon would be a good start. If you think about how many times we eat a day versus how many time you go potty, somethings are getting backed up right.

Thats what I was thinking angel . The diet is also supposed to clear out all the backup and nasty toxins sitting around in there . I think im going to try it fpr 10 days .
