Ya....the gov't closes for all holidays.

I think a lot of people are taking tomorrow off, I couldn't get the day after Thanksgiving off.

That's paid for me....and I am using one of my vacation days for the day before thanksgiving.....5 day weekend getting closer....YIPEE

well since you have a 5 day weekend are you going to come and see me

Lucky you I'm low man on the totem pole in my group. Only good or bad thing they are letting me sit in as a telephone analyst type thing, basically I get to watch a screen to see who is and who isn't signed on to phones etc. I hope they don't make me do too much for 1 day lol

And miss out on my mom's thanksgiving Turkey and getting drunk w/ my sister.......NOWAY!!!

I can't even remember the last time I drank let alone got drunk hmmmm

Beyond the partner's I am next in line for Seniority....Get 2weeks paid off not including holidays. Next year I will get three weeks......going to mexico for one of them in June! I already can't wait!!

That's cool! I get 6 hours of annual(vacation) per pay period 26 pay periods in a year.

26 pay periods ....so you are on a biweekly schedule! Jeez.....and that's low man? How many paid vacation days do the high men get....I need to apply at the IRS...

What's the scoop poop! That brings back memeories. The saying was one a friend used almost every time she saw me. We called each other every single varient of poo or poopoo you could imagine. I don't use that terminolgy with just anyone. Just the poo's I really like.
Another friend just dent me an email today. She's a poo too. I haven't heard from her in a long time and that was nice.

I started my day by waking up, which is ALWAYS a good thing!
Then went for a massage. A good friend of mine is an accupressure massage therapist and he phoned me on Monday because he had a feeling it was time to go see him. Funny thing is, he was right! I almost feel human again!!
We went for lunch after and then over to his place to meet his kids when they got home from school. It's always good to see people you like. I just couldn't believe how much his kids had grown in 8 months.
Then I went to a few deli's in the city and bought some goodies for myself. Stopped at a second hand store, bought a stack of cookbooks and some on foriegn languages. I know...I'm odd!
Then scooped a deal on a new keyboard and mouse, a bag for my laptop and a nice stainless steel steamer/pasta pot at another store I just happened upon while driving.
Went grocery shopping and ALMOST EVERYTHING I was after was on sale! Wicked!
I did get hosed on fuel though. Diesel went up 10 cents a litre (40 cents a gallon)since my last fill up on Monday. Whatever, I needed it anyway.
I came home, made dinner and didn't burn anything!
Now I'm here!!

That does sound like a great day!! Especially the pasta pot
