Even if you are blessed enough to spend the next 40 years with your soulmate, you are guaranteed to cause each other pain in some form or another.

Hopefully i have acquired the wisdom to select the person who makes the pain we inflict upon each other worthwhile:tongue: laugh

waving I am just curious as to the thoughts on this topic.

Lets say you are dating someone you really like and having a great time, but for some reason know it will likely not last. Do you hang in there for the knowing you will have some great memories when it is over.....or do you walk away and say "I am not going to open myself up to being hurt"?

Would You?frustrated

If you know for some reason it won't last, why would you hang in there?
Life is short, it's a gift.
I would move on to find the connection and chemistry that is needed in a loving relationship. Like Mom always says "for every pot there's a lid",
That person is out there looking for you!
Also Daylight is burning at our age...IMHO

Based on my experience; it is always good to fall in love, met a guy from this site when he came over to see me in our home upon knowing I arrived already in Cali though he is a bit far from Whittier and sometimes it hits you right there and then, I before was never convinced of love at first sight but it did happen to me and I already had much doubts that this will not last and that I had to endure due to the location of my job which means I will be away from him but then I grabbed the opportunity of spending some good times with him and I will cherish still the beautiful memories we had together. I did cry my heart out but what is most important you experienced those wonderful moments even in a very short span of time and become part of your beautiful memories and I Never Felt Any Regret of What I Did!

Life in itself is full of risks, if you don't take it, you will never grow. When you fall down, rise up again, pick up the pieces and become whole. A learned man is one who goes through many experiences in life; be it sad or happy, irregardless of age, and the next time you fall in love, you'll know how to handle it, coz you have been there before....so Go For It and Make No Regrets...Just Enjoy Every Bit Of It!!!

The Words he whispered to my ears and that I will never forget..."I Have You Now With Me" ....and that matters most to me during that time.

Make the Most Out Of Your Life and Be Happy!!!
