You stood with us and brought the company afar off,
Through it all, your leadership has given us form.

We felt safe and secure, we felt confident and sure.
We felt listened to, and attended.
This is what we have always felt, with you as a boss.
Today we gather to bid you farewell, knowing we will dearly miss you.

If our company had a face, it would be crying right now.
If it had expressions, it would be depressed and low.
If the company had feelings, i would be in total anguish.
Having to see you move on, and knowing too well how it will miss you.

The end of your tenure is unexpected, your departure hard to believe.
A new company, a new team will get to work with you and grow.
