op he could at least texted her its over... that is normally not right either ... but maybe he feels if he does tell her... she might come back with every excuse to come back to him ... with to many ? he does not want to answer ... other wise she may just show up somewhere he is at like his home saying I thought you where hurt or dead or in the hospital ... he should let her know ... or else he is really a scum bag ... and not worth her time anyway ... and hope she ends up seeing it that way too...

I have to admit, I think your friend is a coward for not at least talking to the woman he had the affair with. Just imagine what she'll be thinking about him. She will think he's a cold man, with no heart. How wouldn't she? After all, he's abandoned her. I wouldn't be surprised if she got with another man so soon. He can't have loved his wife that much, to be having an affair behind her back. Sorry dude, but your friend sounds like trouble. I would just listen to what he has to say about the whole thing, but I'd leave it at that. He created his own mess. I wouldn't bother giving him advice. He sounds like the common denominator in this mess. Two women on the go at once-not good.

To finish things off...he is no longer a friend as I have no respect for his actions even though he was and is a divorced man, he should know better than to treat someone in that manner.

She is a nice lady and I am sure she will bounce back, but it is still a shame some people hold no respect for others and do not care of the hurt they cause.

Closure is for everyone, regardless of the amount of time invested in the relationship /affair....Its the only decent step to take. Personally, a face to face is what I would like...but thats just me!
