Drew Peterson found guilty in murder-for-hire plot ![]() CHESTER, Ill. – Jurors have found former suburban Chicago police officer Drew Peterson guilty of trying to hire someone to kill the prosecutor who helped convict him in his third wife's death. Jurors reached the verdict Tuesday afternoon after deliberating for little more than an hour. Peterson was accused of trying to hire a fellow inmate's uncle to kill Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow. Peterson is serving a 38-year sentence in ex-wife Kathleen Savio's death and faces up to 60 more years in prison. On Tuesday, prosecutors said prison recordings of Peterson speaking with a fellow inmate prove he wanted the prosecutor killed. But Peterson's defense lawyer says Peterson never explicitly says in the recordings that he wanted Glasgow killed. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/05/31/drew-peterson-found-guilty-in-murder-for-hire-plot1.html/ |

Did they ever find his last wife's body? No.. Drew Peterson Born Drew Walter Peterson January 5, 1954 (age 62) Occupation Former Police Officer Criminal penalty 38 years in prison Criminal status Incarcerated in Menard Correctional Center Spouse(s) 4 Carol Brown (m. 1974–1980) Victoria Connolly (m. 1982–1992) Kathleen Savio (m. 1992–2003) Stacy Ann Cales (m. 2003–) Conviction(s) premeditated murder in the 2004 death of Kathleen Savio Drew Walter Peterson (born January 5, 1954) is a retired Bolingbrook, Illinois, police sergeant and convicted felon who first received national publicity in the United States in 2007 when his fourth wife, Stacy Ann Cales Peterson, disappeared. Although law enforcement and the public suspected foul play, she has never been found, and Peterson has not been charged in her case. Suspicions in Stacy Peterson's case were fueled in part by the untimely death three years prior of Drew Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, a few months after her divorce from Drew. In 2009, Peterson was indicted for Savio's murder after a second autopsy showed evidence of a struggle. He was convicted in 2012 and received his sentence of 38 years on February 21, 2013. Peterson is currently incarcerated at the Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois. Including a 4-year credit for time served, Peterson's earliest possible release date is May 7, 2047 when he will be 93 years old. He maintains his innocence. On February 9, 2015, the Illinois Attorney General announced that Peterson will be charged with two felonies, solicitation of murder and solicitation of murder for hire, for attempting to have Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow killed.[1] He was convicted on May 31, 2016. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drew_Peterson/ * Much More On Each Wife & His History* |
