Do You think people meet online and it actually works out?! It happens sometimes...but aren't you more likely to meet someone in real life? I guess its fun to chat and stuff...but I dunno bout all this! Just a thought!

Supposedly humans have met online and made things work however I'm a skeptical bastard so I don't really know. I have met alot of idiots in real life so I figured I would come on here to meet some idiots too. I mean meet some really great people or something like that.

my sister and her husband met on myspace....but I really think they are just freaks....If I tried to meet someone online....It would be some horror story or something...he'd be a serial killer or a baby raper.....IDunno....

hell, if my soon to be ex met someone in a different country, well something must be working online.

So after a break up 2 months ago I have a little extra time that I normally don't have. So what I do with it is

1. Spend more time with the daughters - always good.
2.Play my guitar more
3. Bring out my artistic side building websites
4. Spend a little more time with family until they drive me nuts. 15 minutes is all I can take.
5. Spend a little more time with freinds... they make me laugh till I can't take it and have to go home.
6. Get online to be funny for an hour so when I meet the next gal I've still got my skills.

MySpace huh! I found someone on MySpace that lead me to her Podcast. She is from NY and doing her own podcast on her journey after her breakup a year ago (never been into podcasts before but she intrigued me)..... Really caught my attention by surprise because of how she spoke. I wouldn't normally say I'd go for someone online but...... hey who knows!

See Amber I think you've already killed the result... you have this negative picture in your head convincing yourself it's already a bad thing and gonna fail... so hence it will fail... but that's just my opinion... there are good people out there really looking for love or something good to come out of their experience here...

I don't believe that's a self-fufilling prophecy.....Im really looking at the good side and the bad side..

Yes it's extremely important to protect yourself. So it's good to be on the safe side. Nobody wants to see you on CNN like the CL nanny story. Very sad.

Self Promotion Time: There are honest guys like me; I have a home I bought although now it's the ex wifes and my kiddies (it's all good), I work, have debt :), I always open a door be it for man or woman, I go out with freinds..... have had 4 long term relationships.... So maybe this avenue from JSH will make it one more interesting way that I've met people.

Maybe you'll learn something and maybe.... just maybe... meet someone.

I think you will get out of this what you put into it.
I've put a lot into this online stuff, and so far I've gotten very little back. My only thought is that it's because I live in a small town that hardly anyone has ever heard of...except for the Ohio one. Or most likely it's due to fate.
Just keep your chin up, Amber and someone will come along.
