believe ...we should be working on our infrastructure ...

and putting more people back to work with that ... something from
Ring Of Fire ... I found interesting ... not all about the crumbing of our infrastructure...

good topic mystical

I believe we always have to 'work' ,whether its on our home environment, or our education and knowledge, or as a country on the infrastructure'

once we become too complacent, things can easily begin to regress

I believe we already have a culture that values 'work' , but I don't think we value it as much as we do the income it generates

people are valued more by the 'earned income' and the earned income becomes indicative of how hard or if someone is 'working'

the quality of the work then becomes important , we can create a million jobs, but if they pay 8 or 9 bucks an hour we aren't really improving the quality of life much

it starts with education,, since more and more cant afford the debt of college education, we need to start earlier in giving kids skills that they can support a family on in the future'

I advocate for career prep curriculum in high school, in addition to or instead of college prep

if people could graduate high school without a requirement to take on debt by going to college,,,,just to get by or support their family, it would make a huge difference

carpenter, electrician, hvac, and even machine operators are relatively well paying professions and skills that people can market as independent contractors,, so relying on big corporate employers to give us just an opportunity will not be an issue and we then have the opportunity to gain opportunity directly from individual consumers themselves

I think the current system is a fail that continues to leave people in large debt and living check to check,,,,,it looks mostly after folks and corporations with the big bucks, and pits the rest of us against each other , climbing over each other , and cutting each other down

I agree their is to much collage debt and not their fault ... and they should in crease wages ... a few states have already ... that is why I like Bernie and Warren... they are fighting for these rights ... and trying to do something about it ... but those on the infrastructure we need it bad... with all the things that are broke ... but they want $ for big energy... we need lasting jobs ... and I agree with ROF it would take forever to get America infrastructure fixed... and would bring up the economy... wow ... this ttp and ttip does not care about the climate control and we can not fix it anyway ... just need to help the oceans clean up from the garbage that has been dumped for yrs ... I heard when the ice caps start melting in the water ... that is when it will start for all ... another subject lol and they should keep head start for children not cut it like some would like to ... and that is why they are not talking substance in this election ... they want to make sure this happens your so right ->corporations with the big bucks, and pits the rest of us against each other , climbing over each other , and cutting each other down ...

good ideas all

just a funny idea and not a real recommendation, but can you imagine if employees had to hire you based upon your school debt,,,like if you invested 50 thousand into school after 4 years,, they should have to hire you at the living wage AND the tuition rate to pay back the education which allegedly lead to you being qualified for the job,,

I bet employers wouldn't be so quick to disregard people for not having the right formal education

Ummm Pardon me but Big "public" corporations work for the simple shareholder... that's you and me, in case I need to clarify. your 401k invests your hard earned dollar into these same greedy corporations... The greed, it's all you and I.

I don't own stock,, those who own enough to have impact are part of the 'folks with big bucks'

the greed is not me, its the wealthy (individuals or corps) who still need and demand more wealth on the backs of others sacrifices

Not really. I believe they will still take the one with the higher education. Most employers will say "or with equivalent work experience in the position that you are applying for". But my experience has been that it does not count being equal to a college degree or even better than college.
