I recently purchased one and I am just learning to use it. Anyone have any favorite recipes that are great in these cookers?

No they are handy though I use mine to speed up the process of frozen venison, pork, and beef roasts for dishes I'm preparing.

That's what I have been using it for so far and I love it. I have to work late a lot so it is great for speeding things up. I am envious that you have venison! LOL I'm sure it's delicious! But yes, it saves soooo much time and meat comes out so nice and tender.

I'm guessing your cooker is small like mine so it's hard to get good flavor and fit everything. One good recipe comes to mind 13 bean soup with smoked ham shoulder or butt I'm sure bone marrow was a big factor in the unbelievably good taste. Old girlfriends grand mother made on Sunday I remember it vividly it was so good. she used a large stove top PC/canner. I can remember lots of fresh garden tomatoes & onions love onions I really think she added bone stock for more marrow can almost taste it. If I use a recipe it's for a guide or I cant remember. My grandmother grew up on a farm with a lot of mouths to feed she never used a recipe little bit of this a little bit of that pinch of this pinch of that boils down to your preference your making it but you know that. Hope I don't get in trouble for this recipe.
