What do you think is more important, love or goals? Why people only realize love is more important when they get older? They search for love when they are already old cuz they rejected love that found them when they were younger.

Hi! I can only speak for myself. Love has always been paramount for me. I embraced it when I was very young, I was happily married for 21 years... and now my Goal is to Love again.

Faith, Hope and Love are 3 things life is not worth living without... I think.

Hi Welcome to Mingle.

Honestly I believe we always have to have goals...
I have always had goals they are part of what makes up who I am.

Love comes when it comes.

I don't think having goals would be rejecting goals in life.
I think they go pretty much hand in hand.

I do believe that when you have love of a partner the individual goals will change a bit to mesh with your partners. But they are still there.

You know, now that you bring this up, I don't think I've ever known anyone who actually put their non-romantic goals ahead of real love that they thought they felt.

I've seen lots of people, especially when younger and less experienced, think they were chasing love when they were really doing something else. And I've known plenty of people who were so in love with their own hedonistic appetites, that they did all sorts of things (including focusing entirely on getting money) that they appeared to be ignoring love, but since they didn't actually love anyone, I don't think it' accurate to say they set love aside for goals.

I want a little of both. If my goal is do save money and there goal is to spend it. We are going to have a problem.

Typically people stop having goals when they get older. They look a round and notice they are alone. So then they look for love. Not everybody though. Just you guys. laugh

I think they go hand in hand If you love someone.. then you have goals that you want to met with them. Get married, buy a house, ect ect.

Most of the woman I have know want their man to have goals.. to strive to be better or to reach his potential.

They like that.. makes them proud.

This is very wise! thanks!
