oooh I Love Paris

"I love Paris in the spring time,
I love Paris in the fall,
I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles,
I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles,"

As for places in Paris to recommend, I suggest a travel agent
or google search.

Just got back from there,

my girlfriend and I stayed at the Crown Plaza Republique which was a really nice hotel...and wasnt insanely expensive, thr location was nice because it was right next to a.major metro interchange making it quick to get everywhere.

As for beautiful places, besides all the tourist attractions, if you're into architecture there are so so so many amazing building. ...

you can literally walk down almost any ally and find a building that was built in thr 1800s it may now be a grocer, but the building is amazing.

First day we were therr we took a "hop-on-hop-off bus tour"...imo well worth it, seen so many things more efficiently then I could have done in my own...it also gives you a good idea of where you want to go back to and stay longer...

It really depends in what you're into

Mmmmmmmm Paris.

Thing is, you want to wander about with no plans
to find the hidden gems there.

Okay eating at the top of the Eiffel Tower
is kind of scary :-)

Yes, long way up and worried the whole time
about an incident..not sure they called it terrorism
in 1974, but the Tower of London was blown with a bomb
a few days after I visited, same time as France.

My Favourite place in Paris is Montmarte district, around the sacre couer basilica and the moulin rouge, some fantastic views of the city, and also from the top of the arc de triomphe you get stunning views.

Lots of wonderfully historic places to see there as well. What kind of things interest you the most?

I stayed there for several weeks a very long time ago.

If you like sports history, go and visit the Stade de Colombes, in the Colombes district, the stadium was the venue of the 1924 summer olympic games and the 1938 football world cup final.
