I've seen it happen in 3rd world countries mostly...it happend in one of them while i was in africa...it could be for various reasons but where i was a lot of politicians had stolen millions & hidden it so the govt. called for a new currency to safeguard many issues

Based on what I know about India's situation it seems like a good idea, but I'm ill informed to make an educated response. |
