Heartbreaks take as much of a toll on a person who actually experiences them, as physical injuries do. I think this is why most people learn to restrain their "fall in love" urges, over time.

True Love & Affection
These terms are different things but often grouped if you don't know.
Affection: You show affection. You can show affection to someone or something that you do not experience true love with. Affection for your friend, your car or your job.

True Love: True love happens when two people share love for each other. Affection is one way to show that love to the other person.

What people seem to fail to understand about true love is that it is not all affection. True love also means that you are willing to do anything to help the one you love that is having difficulty.



True but nobody will ever have a clean plate. True love is the ability to understand the person's dirty plate yet love them still. True love helps do the dishes and the other true love understands this and works to help get them clean.



I don't really see it like that. Wisdom comes to us from experience. When we learn from our experiences we gain wisdom, when we don't gain that wisdom we repeat the experience until we do. If you are repeating the same mistakes then you have not gained that wisdom yet. On the good side, If we gain wisdom that certain behavior yields results that are good, we continue that behavior. Some people cannot see that, thus they keep repeating the same behavior and keep getting the wrong results.

Heartbreak stress causes your brain to exude chemicals that are toxic to healthy axon/dendrite synapse. When that synapse does not fire correctly nerves do not get the signal properly. The greater the heartbreak the more chemical interference there is. It can affect the whole body physically. Any depression can do this. I learned about it from my psychologist when I was fighting my depression and trying to figure out which chemical I needed to get my levels correct. Luckily we found the right chemical. But, like heartbreak, my chemical imbalance was corrected and I was taken off the meds. Heartbreak is not forever but we get addicted to the chemical change and self-promote it, unknowingly.

Love is a drug, ever hear that song?
It is true, again, our brains exude a chemical that causes euphoria when we experience love. That is why we 'love it'. We get addicted to it easily. Therefore, falling in love is easy.

True Love is not the same. True love is feeling connection with someone even if the chemical is not being exuded at that time. True love exists even when they piss you off or do something you didn't like. True love allows you to gain wisdom from another in things you may not have considered. It expands you as a person.

There are different kinds of true love as well. You can have negative true love as well as positive. Negative true love is when the person you love is detrimental to you yet you continue to love them. We want positive true love. When we can't find it we settle for any love to gain that chemical euphoria.

Its where delusional thinking plays a part. We delude ourselves into thinking that sacrificing our own morals and integrity to someone no matter the cost is worth it.

True love changes both parties, good and bad. It exists on both sides of the relationship.

On any dating site online you are not going to find your true love. You may find a perspective but true love can only be experienced in person over time.

When the heart works with the head they are better equipped to find love worthy of trusting to stay
