Good Day M2, I want to think you guys for making my last 2 forums mega hits, see this is my niche controversy. Shots out again to my loyal " Vocal Avengers" as well as my new voicers, they know who they are. Okay, lets get right to business, once again I want to start this one by explaining my view on I say impeach? okay, Donald Trump is sworn in now, & he's our now president, lets do a run down, the few days he's been in office, well lets see, the national woman rally voiced how angry of his views on abortion. Him & Russian President Putin been doing some crazy " I got something on you trump type conversing going on. overseas countries are ready to pull away from this country for obvious reasons, & lets not forget he's signing executive orders that's the powers that be are feeling like he's messing the nature order of things. What the heck do Putin has on this man? Lets talk about it, Do you think he's worth 4 years or 4 months then impeachment? Let's do it!

He hasn't committed an impeachable offense. You need an overwhelming support of both the House and the Senate to impeach a President and let me remind uou the House and the Senate are both controlled by Republicans and the 18 Senate Seats up for re-election in 2018 are all in states President Trump won by wide margins.

If the Democrats keep the attitude of trying to block everything President Trump does, it will cost them in the end. President Trump has already done a lot for America, even before taking office. He saved and created thousands of jobs, prevented companies from going over seas. He is truly shaping up to be a fantastic President.

yeah,, okwhoa

2 points.

1. Criticizing and 'bashing' are not the same. SO long as others ask about and post about Trump, I contribute my answers and opinions.

2. Yes Lying under oath CAN be impeachable. But with 'alternate facts', I don't know how that's possible anymore...lol.

3. War on our soil or impact on rights concern me greatly because they IMPACT PEOPLES LIVES.

Guess what.. a continuous never ending stream of " criticizing".. is bashing.

Has the President lied under oath?. And if so... to what? and when.

We have a war on drugs, a war on terrorism and disarming thugs who are carrying illegal weapons AND using them to kill fellow Americans is NOT a impact on rights. It is protecting the rights of Americans.. from being killed.

guess what?

bashing implies an ATTACK

there is no attack if an opinion is in RESPONSE to a question.

I don't agree with impeaching so the whole lying under oath tangent is irrelevant to my opinion of him and his style.

Disarming 'thugs' already happens without military intervention. They are still US citizens and US geography, not enemy combatants.

Oh my goodness! ANOTHER person who doesn't know what they are talking about, and who believes propaganda over facts.

First of all, a basic and common point about impeachment:

Impeachment is NOT REMOVAL FROM OFFICE. More people DON'T know how the Impeachment and Removal process works in the US, than do.

Impeachment of Presidents is done in the House of Representatives alone. This is because what Impeachment is, is FORMAL ACCUSATION OF CRIMES.

That is followed by trial in the Senate, and it is the Senate alone, which either removes the President or does not.

That is why Bill Clinton WAS Impeached by the House of Representatives, but was NOT found guilty, and therefore NOT removed from office, by the Senate.

Now as to Trump, it is quite correct that with the control of both House and Senate being in the control of his own (nominal) party, that Trump will be "allowed a much longer leash" than Clinton was. Clinton was Impeached entirely for saying he wasn't screwing around with Monica Lewinski, when actually he was. THAT WAS IT. Although the Republican "Alternative Facts" propaganda machine LOVES it when any America believes their false claims of both Clintons having been caught committing all manner of overt crimes again and again, in the REAL WORLD< that never happened.

Now, as to the above propaganda claims about Trump.

Trump has NOT SAVED EVEN A SINGLE AMERICAN JOB. Not yet, anyway. But Trump being Trump, he has trumpeted claims that he has done so, simply by force of personality. The company which was most trumpeted as having reversed course after Trump attacked them, didn't change a thing after Trump's bombast. They STILL fired everyone they had planned to fire all along. The three hundred jobs that remained in the US, were ALREADY slated to stay here.

Similarly, the much ballyhooed non-move of a Ford auto plant to Mexico is actually false. Ford themselves explained that the decision not to build the plant in Mexico had already been made, before Trump even began to run for NOMINATION. But as before, the real facts aren't of any interest to Trump, because he is all about showmanship.

Back to me and my opinion: I do very much LIKE the fact that Trump is attacking large companies in the press, who are making such moves. It's refreshing to finally have someone who at least PRETENDS to be a REPUBLICAN, who doesn't follow that party's long standing policy of favoring shifting American jobs overseas, as a punishment for American workers unionizing and demanding living wages and health benefits. However, it IS just loud talk, so far. Not one major company has actually changed their actions viz-a-viz outsourcing, because of Trump's actions or threats.

Finally, I am personally annoyed with the growing habit or fad of talking about "giving Trump a chance." The entire CONCEPT is nonsensical. Trump IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. The voters HAVE "given him a chance," by putting him in office. However, it is ANTI-AMERICAN IN THE EXTREME, to call for ZERO CRITICISM from the electorate, as the "give Trump a chance" campaigners want.

To me it appears that there are people who wish him to fail.. look forward to it.. crave it more then anything.. even the wellbeing of their country.

And how self serving is that?

Yea, It happened 8 years ago too with Obama, not sure who got it worse though, just have to see how it plays out.

I never liked Obama as a President, even before he took office I couldn't stand him, but I never hoped he would fail. People like that are truly disgusting.

1- Authorization of a U.S. Mexican border wall, stripping money to sanctuary cities 5,000 more border patrol agents ending " Catch & Release".

2- Revving the Keystone XL pipeline & Dakota Access pipeline expedite the envoirmental permitting process for infrastructure projects related to the pipelines.

3- Mexico City policy to ban on federal funds to international groups that perform abortions or lobby to legalize or promote abortion.

4- A Notice withdrawing from the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal.

All this in 4 days? surprised

That lists not including everything he did between November and January 20th 2017. The thousands of jobs he saved and helped create. Tens of millions of dollars he saved the taxpayers from Boeing screwing us on the costs of the new fleet of Presidential aircraft.

You mean he did a petty little thing like committed perjury? noway That is a serious offense, especially when your a damn attorney. That shows blatant disrespect to our justice system and our rule of law. Clinton skated by in the Senate. It was a tied vote on the obstruction charge and there was only a nine vote difference in the impeachment. If it hadn't been so close to the end of his Presidency they would have impeached him.

He was disbarred, is still unable to practice law in front of the Supreme Court but according to your logic he didn't really commit a crime. No, not at all. whoa

having sex with someone other than your wife and lying about it,, whether to your wife or to the PUBLIC , doesnt impact my life one way or another, or anyone elses really...

though it may 'disrespect' the system, it may or may not have met the 'high crimes and misdemeanors' standard, depending upon the congress

that congress determined it did

USING The office to pad your personal business or give beneficial insight to your business partners (ask Martha Stewart) could be 'disrespectful' of the system too

many things could, regardless of their actual impact on the lives of others

but the language is vague enough to leave that to congress, and the congress is partisan enough to give their candidate plenty of rope where impeachment is concerned

Really?.. it totally compromised his integrity. He not only lied to his wife, he lied to the entire population of the United States. And only admitted to it when he was cornered.. and snagged.

Once a liar..always a liar... isn't that how the saying goes ;)

lying to the public about your MARITAL problems makes you lose integrity but:

plagiarizing a speech doesnt
treating your wife like the help doesnt
talking out of both sides of your mouth doesnt
talking about a womans period doesnt
mocking a disabled reporter doesnt
Tweeting personal attacks in the middle of the night doesnt
and on and on and on

Integrity?!

HILARIOUSlaugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

we shouldnt pretend that 'integrity' in our Presidents is an issue for us anymore

or that a lack of integrity is convictable

to the vast majority of the public.. yeah.. it does. Having sex in the White house with a intern...and then lying about it to those same people yeah.. you loose the respect of the people for that.. yep... you do.

But there are some.. a very few, that don't see that as a problem. its o.k. with them.

so it matters because of WHERE it happened?,,,,laugh laugh laugh

ok

Jefferson, Kennedy, and a slew of other Presidents and men in power in general had affairs,, its not 'ok' but its hardly something that impacts anything but their own marriage,,,,,and has nothing to do with their J O B

THE POINT WAS

integrity is about morals, which is obviously not REALLY something Presidents have to be concerned about based upon the currently elected POTUS

and the hypocrisy of claiming such an importance in INTEGRITY while looking the other way at all types of 'not ok' words and things that a President elect has done and said

the common refrain this election season was 'its terrible that he said/did that,,,BUT'

I say we let the delusional narcissistic egomaniac self destruct. I'm betting that he does something so outrageous that no one can rationalize or defend. His media black out on the EPA. recent immigration ban (with out telling immigration officials) and removing ay reference to climate change to the White House Web site is just the beginning.

As for his recent ban on immigration, Trump has business holdings in several Mideast countries. Did anyone happen to notice that those countries weren't on his list?

All of his supporters who want this country run like a business are getting a taste of how he runs his businesses - fire anyone who disagrees with you and sue the hell out of the opposition. It may succeed in the business world, but the last time I looked the US was democracy.

He doesn't have a clue as to how to run a country - a leader needs to know how to negotiate and listen to opposing points of view. Their top priority should be the people they serve not whether they are right or wring. Trump seems more concerned about proving he's right all the time. In his eyes he is never wrong. Instead of focusing on the big picture - he won the election - he's still throwing a tantrum about the # of people at the inauguration & voter fraud. And they have audacity to call them alternate truths - please - a lie is a lie is a lie. He probably thinks people are stupid enough not to realize that an alternate truth is a lie.

I still can't believe that we've elected someone this emotionally unstable to the presidency.
