I 'd like to boast about author Andy McDermott. His Nina Wilde/Eddie Chase book series is so darn good! If you like a combo of Indiana Jones and James Bond then this series is for you:thumbsup:.

I like Jodi Picoult. She writes stories about real people that could actually happen. She always has a couple of twists in her books that you don't see coming. "Nineteen Minutes" is my favorite.

I have read many true crime stories but I think Ann Rule is the best writer. I have read many of her books and she is really good. She died a year or two ago.

If a person likes history, James A. Michener is great. You can see he puts so much research into his books, but yet he develops these well rounded fictional characters that fit into his stories. My favorites are "Centennial" and "The Drifters".

Ok first, my previous "reply" was RE: Andy McDermott's Wild/Chase. Second, my favorite author is Terry Goodkind. His Sword of Truth Series begins with Wizard's First Rule. I find when I'm reading his work that I just can't put the book down.

Cool! It's nice to know somebody else likes Andy M:thumbsup: . Second I never have been a reader of comic books/graphic novels but now I love reading the new James Bond comic series:heart_eyes:, first by Dark Horse (read all those) and now by Dynamite. Oh and I can't wait for Andy's new book "The Midas Legacy" to come out March 28.

Sure, I'd like o boast about MY favorite author, ME!
Hi, how y'all doing? My name's John Morrissey. I have currently three books available on Kindle and paperback from Amazon. "Johnny Frankenstein: the Undying Detective", Johnny Frankenstein: the Night Chicago Died", and "Johnny Frankenstein: the Anachramis Project and other Summer Fun". They're a lot of fun, dealing with horror, noir detective tropes, the supernatural, the mob, weird science, mental illness, love, loss, and the quest for a decent Italian beef sandwich.
Try 'em. They're pretty inexpensive.
