There was a case years ago in California where a feller
kidnapped a young girl, raped her then cut both her
arms off and left her to die in the desert.

(Her life was saved when she had the foresight to
shove her stumps into the sand, it cauterized them
..and someone found her.)

Guy goes to jail.
Guy gets out of jail a few years later, he never got out
on parole because no jurisdiction could guarantee
his safety.

Sure enough he murders a lady who tried to help him.

I just think once you are capable of acting out certain
fantasies they are a train that keeps on rolling.

There are crimes committed by sick people and not so sick people that are so horrific.. so sick, that those who committed them should never feel the grass under their feet again. they should never be set free.

I do not believe that people who commit such sick crimes as dismembering people ( because they want to) torturing and killing people ( because they enjoy that) raping women repeatedly ( because they like that) can ever be "cured".

We as a society have no clue why some brains think for one minute that it is o.k. to do those things. we don't know what triggers them to do it in the first place... so how could we possible know they would never do it again.

in my book.. they would ever walk the streets again...ever
