Money.......how much is enough.. never seems to be for those who are driven by it... they never get enough

Most that I know are actually miserable.. nice house.. nice cars.. pretty wife.. but miserable.

that " drive for money" is their life and in doing that they bypass all the important things.. family.. kids.. real friends

I knew one in particular.. loaded.. his entire life was to make money, and he did that very well.

When he died, that is ALL he had. His wife left, kids grew and because he was never around didn't really even know him

And since you can't take it with you in reality he had nothing.

And BTW nobody liked him.. no real friends. We went to the funeral ( viewing).. did the 5 minute thing and split.

But we can group all driven people into this category. I have plenty of friends, family, a child, all whom i hold dear and treasure.

My career and money makes me happy but i want a lady to fill the missing void.

I do not believe that there is no limit to money, i would be happy to be comfortable... Well... More so! :blush:but i dont strive for unlimited wealth.

The most miserable i have been is with a lack of money. With, life is euphoric.

Not all people fall short as you show, that's rather the minority in my experiences.

But a very valid point, and very well made. Thank you for your input :relaxed:

Well, everyone has different experiences. I have been around it for the better part of my career. And what I see is unhappiness, for the most part. If they are making $300K a year.. they are spending $350K a year...never enough.

What I see is people working basically 24/7.. always connected. Always traveling.. rarely home and when they are.. they are still working or talking about.. work.

I work.. a lot and I can tell you, it is a very fine line between making everything ad losing everything that matters.

But best of luck to you

I absolutely agree with you. But i keep my career to 55 hours a week, very meticulous and frugal with spending, so i live a lesser life style than i could so my money saves up and i dont breach that threshold.

Its all about management of time, life and relationships. Mine is all good, just need that little extra from a lady :)
