my mind says there's a big possibility to get hurt and stop before it happens.i was brave enough to start but I need every ounce of courage to see it through. does love have to be hard? what does it take to go on a leap of faith? does an easy and mostly happy relationship exist? been hurt too many times mingle please give me that faith back

First of all, are you talking about a real life relationship or online?

Love does not have to be hard. The online stuff adds a layer of difficulty and an element of fantasizing that rarely translates to the real world.

You seem to be a sweetheart. Don't force it. Love will happen on its own time. Just be open and ready to seize the opportunity. Chasing after it NEVER worked for me.

Someone chasing love thinks they see it in the distance and runs after it.

Hopefully the right one will cross your path at some point. The trick is to recognize opportunity when it comes knocking.

Ah, the subtleties of the idea of a "leap of faith." Another of the commonly misunderstood aspects of human life.

Faith is complicated. It's not at all the same as ignoring your instincts and direct observations, but a lot of people think that that's EXACTLY what it means, and that it is only by denying your own sensibilities that you can ever enjoy the magic that comes from faith. They are in error, and they often end up hurting themselves and others a fair amount before realizing that.

The most important faith to discover, is faith in yourself, and in your own perceptions, and your own power of choice. When you have that, you will realize things such as that you can risk caring about another, because if your love turns out to have been misplaced, you will still be you, and will be able to move on and find another.

Does love have to be hard? It depends on what you mean by that. The fact that you come to care about someone does not obligate you in any way, to show that care in ways that are unpleasant for you, or which go against your own best interests. You can truly love someone, and not give your money away, or your lifetime, or your soul. In that sense, no, love doesn't have to be hard. Are some people so well matched to you, that time spent with them will almost always be pleasant? Probably. I've not been so lucky myself, but I've known people who were.

Ok not going to answer all this, ok as for me general online rule... Too far then a no go. Been there and it sucks when you get stood up. As for online. Well aren't one of several that gas said he might be the one on here. I pretty much don't expect much other than entertainment out of this anyways.
