Crap is a relative observation. Since you listen to similar artists as I we may have some commonality.

I personally enjoy a wide range of music but prefer guitar and sax blues. Some keyboard work is amazing as well. My favorite part of songs is the solo instrumentals.

Since I have such a wide-range of tastes, I try to introduce works that are not as mainstream as others. I get satisfaction from introducing 'other' sounds to people. It broadens horizons.

Matt Schofield is one such artist that not many have listened to. He is currently touring the USA till the end of June.

Here are some samples of his sound:

^^^^Crap is subjective to a certain degree (By the way I really liked the Nils Lofgren tune and I was loving Zebra in Long Island bars in the mid to late 70's) As an aside, Dream Theater did an awesome cover of "Take Your Fingers From My Hair."

I do wish you would post links one at a time. You tend to overwhelm. Truthfully, I'm not even going to attempt to listen to all the stuff you posted. However, if you post the same stuff one at a time I would be much more inclined to listen to every track.

Back to crap... Sounding good to someone's ear is very subjective. However, crappy music is not as subjective. There is a gap between noise and dissonance.

Yeah, some stuff is just terrible no matter how many people say they like it.
