Remember being a child, laughing loud and long, until your belly hurt?

Remember that bubbly swelling inside?

That sheer bliss of being free?

Who still has that?

And what brings it up in you?

Every so often I get to laughing and just can't stop. People who have seen me go through this really freak, too, and just have to wait it out cause they think I can't breathe!! Sometimes it's simply cause I'm tired or have done something silly...or because someone said something that just struck me as hilarious.

My best friend can do that to me at times, and the same with myself to her. Also, if I see something that strikes me as funny (for example I don't remember what movie it was but a guy goes falling off a treadmill) I crack up. People find it odd, but then I don't care what they think....hehe

I have that feeling alot since I'm sober. Noticing things that are simple -- birds singing, a baby's laugh, the sound of my friends gathered together and laughing.

To be able to start my life or my day over and enjoy simple pleasures again. Knowing deep within me there is a power greater than myself who keeps me calm and free of things I can't control. Something that keeps me centered and helps me to not take my self so serious.

Watching a new comer reach a year sobriety. Me reaching another year of sobriety and never forgetting where it is I come from.

Always going back to my childhood and remembering the laugher, the love, the awesome parents who brought me into this world. The ability to act child like when the situation presents itself or to see beauty through the eyes of a child.

Since I'm sober -- I'm free to return the simple pleasures.

Today is my new sobriety date. I hope I will discover all of the promises that sobriety brings. I have never stayed sober long enough to experience them.

Sad if anyone thinks laughter like that is for just children. it could mean you are taking life way too seriously!

Nothing like being with my friends and we start flying around the jokes and such. we all can laugh so hard, tears in the eyes, sides hurting and can't even breath.

Those are times that make life worth living! happy So call me a "child" or a "kids" or whatever you want to term it, because thats something I will never live without!

Twitch, I love hearing that.

Goofy, I KNOW you will feel that soon. Especially if we get to go shopping while Lee watches the clouds.

I still get that. When I'm with boy, my family, my girlfriends, with friends at work, with the new beau. Completely got a case of the giggles at the Thanksgiving table last week. Was in tears. Sigh. I love that feeling!

Hi all, I still love to belly laugh like that. Being with upbeat and crazy people bring it out in me.
Good luck one. I think you'll find life is so much more fun sober. Best wishes.
