Hi all, Iv'e spotted this lady who works in a local shop up by where I live and I know she's single and she always looks unhappy, so I thought of writing this little poem/song for her.... please let us know what you all think....?

'Let me know'

I would like to know what it its you think about
are you feeling kind of lonely, living your life in doubt
and do you often sigh, as you watch the world just pass you by
while everybody's laughing as you begin to cry....

because it's wrong
yes, it's wrong
it shouldn't have to be this way
oh please be strong
just be strong
because hope is on its way....

Do you sleep at night, once youv'e dried your crying eyes
or do you stay awake waiting for the sun to rise
do you feel the cold, as there's no-one there for you to hold
your soul is crying out and your body's feeling old...

because it's wrong
yes, it's wrong
it shouldn't have to be this way
oh please be strong
just be strong
because hope is on its way....

Well I would like to be, the one to wipe your tears away
your knight in shining armour, for you the dragon I will slay
And on cloud nine, I'll take you into this heart of mine
all I need is a signal, all I need is a sign

So let me know
just let me know
and i'll be there for you
Just let it show
and I will know.......
my feelings......are us times two.....

Hmmm...
Well, it depends on the person, but I'd either include a small gift, or print out the poem on fancy paper, and use a artistic font.
Just a thought.
...Oh, and some communication would be good too. Some women don't care for unknown admirers.

I would say she is very lucky to have caught your eye. Also, nice that you are bold enough to be so untraditional; hat's off to you and good luck. flowerforyou

Great poem! Although I would recommend getting to know her a little before giving her a poem.

It's a beautiful poem, and I say give it to her.
It would put a smile on my face in any situation.
It showes your soft, caring side and it sounds like that's what she may need. Maybe get her a few of these to give her with the poem, flowerforyou flowerforyou doesn't have to be anything fancy or expensive, a single rose would be great.
Some female won't admit to it, but we all like that sort of thing.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

And don't forget to let us know how it turns out.

Ohhhh, ummm, Richard,

I think its way tooo assuming to give to her right away. I mean what if she isn't really sad that is just how she looks and doesn't even realize it.

Try looking at the job she does and be her hero that way as an introduction poem. I just think it would be a safer bet. Fabulous idea though wrapped around an unassuming style flower would be a most awesome introduction of yourself.

Cheers all for your comments...
well, I finally managed to pluck up courage and i spoke to her (I was that nervous I dont think I made any sense...lol) But I gave her my phone number and she replied by saying...
"I was wondering when you would finally come round to give me your number..."

I will let you all know what happens next  happy

HA!!!!....
Guess what folks.... It's been 6 days, 13 hours, 27 minutes and 6 seconds since I gave her my number and she hasn't phoned, texed or anything else. So I think she was havin me on. lol.
Mind you, in my phone book on my mobile the next number to My number is Morrisons home delivery number. Did I give her the wrong number.

P.s.. I was only kidding about the time line at the top of this text...(i'm not a stalker, nor possesive, nor anything else...)
because by the time you have read this it would of actually been '6 days, 13 hours, 29 minutes and 13 seconds if ya get my drift.....

Any way, what do you think I should do?

Take care all....
