Thanks sceptical,
 I am safer than I would have been if I had stayed in the Keys. Unfortunately due to mistakes made 14 years ago, I don't drive, so I am at this point totally dependent on my sister for my safety. She's my opposite...drama queen control freak and right now she's in a total state of panic. On our way here I couldn't help but to wonder if I would have been safer to just stay put rather than get in a car with her. But I know I wouldn't have and I thank God we got here in one piece. |

Hopefully we will be safe. We evacuated to my niece's in Holiday, now it looks like it's coming to Tampa, which is an hour away. We've secured the house as best as possible and have a lot of supplies, so now it's a matter of praying we'll be safe. We have 7 adults, 8 children, 4 dogs, 8 cats, and 6 fish... one big happy family, lol. Fortunately everyone is working together to get prepared. |

How's things? Is that nasty hurricane still chasing you? Coffee all round I think

Coffee sounds great Mikey.
Well it looks like Key Largo is out of the cone are, just need to be concerned with storm surge, but it's 100 miles from Key West so hopefully all will be well. Still ify about my work place. And if it stays on course, we should only get a category 3 hurricane here. We still need to prepare for the worst, but it looks like we will be safe here. |
