how do I set to only search up to my area and no further than 50 miles?

right at the top of the search page. just add zip code and distance. though it is not fool proof

I just tried that and also tried to change woman looking for woman to looking for man and my country but nothing works, is this site even real?

pmoyer are you using the app or the full site? if app it gets glitchy try doing it from the full site
