It's never too late to have one. The problem is finding one. The right one.

Starting a good relationship with oneself I’ve heard is very important before looking out for one.

I skipped this part last time. Very sound advice. Take time for yourself, find yourself and be happy with yourself before moving on to another relationship.

I wonder if maybe the problem is not so much in finding the right one, as it is in not seeing the right one?

How many of us look all around us for that special one, yet are completely blind to what's right in front of us?

I've definitely have been guilty of that.

Well in Europe and the Uk...and the rest of the world its ok, to date while being "technically in" a divorce....
Some people just won't....
Also after a LTR like marriage, there are at least 3-20 relations which are " bounceback" afterward. Meaning, chances are good during this time that YOU will seek out someone exactly like YOUR ex....just a little different. Leading to the reason I will personally NOT date someone fresh from a divorce. All they want to do is talk about their ex....Thats when I'm waving at the waiter for the check and a quick exit. :0

My Grandmother remarried at 82 and had 15 wonderful years with her new husband. We have no idea how long we wil be here, so why wouldn't you spend as much of that time in love as possible? :tulip:
