Good afternoon Integ ![]() You turned it off, or they turned it off? I called and said enough. No no no I can't take it no more. No thank you please I'm nearly on my knees. ![]() ![]() Well, yes. I spent almost a year watching our finest officials, Congress, Senate circus putting on the biggest freak show of my entire life. Almost a year of complete and utterly ridiculous disrespect and disregard for taxpayers money. Now that the parties finally be investigated related to all the resistance. I no longer need to waste my money on cable internet and land line phone. Cell phone is all I need. Until I feel it isn't worth all the money. And did I mention I was happy. Drain the swamp! |

Good point Integ, and I agree it's a waste of money.
Eric explained to me how to hook up my computer to my phone's mobile data, so basically that's all I need too. I have unlimited data, the hotspot data isn't unlimited though, but that's fine, it just slows it down. Good for you! ![]() |

All I use is a Galaxy S5 android on Straight Talk.... stu the only reason i left straight talk was because you can't tether on it and share your data |

At the moment, I have no tv/cable/land line phone. I only have a basic cell and a laptop. I have to travel around town to use wifi on my latop, and use it to watch dvd's at home.

most of the main line carriers have smart phone plans that let you share data with you laptop cat

Hi cat, that's a smart way to do it. The library is real close by and the park has wifi through the government center. So long as I don't need a secure connection, I can go there once I'm out of the motel. My mobile data gives me a secure connection, but it's limited. |

Xfinity now has xfinity mobile....Do you think it would be a decent service? I've checked it out a little, looks like you have to have a two year contract, and pay a monthly fee for the phone if you don't buy it straight out.

I don't have a smart phone, just a basic cell and I'm on my sister's family plan. I don't want to rock the boat with her. I'm grateful she volunteered to pay. I live close to the library and bakery.

I'd be locked into a two year contract. Best to stick with what I have. I'm happy with Boost, so far I've not had any problems with them. It was just a thought, but probably not a good one because when I had cable, they always tried to tack on other expenses. I imagine they'd do the same with the mobile phone. |
