Light travels faster than sound. That’s why people appear bright until they speak.... Light involves photons which are detected by the eye...speech involves sounds waves which involves the ears...the use of the word "appearance" as applied to sound waves can at best involve doppler shift which is not a photonic event; thus, appearance of brightness is not applicable and nonsensical with respect to speech.. |
