The new series.

I binge watched it last week.

I had misgivings from the first scene where he was burning his punisher skull face body armor.

I watched maybe 4 episodes after that fully, but then I started fast forwarding through 90% of the episodes and stopping at any fight/murder scenes, the rest was boring and pointless.

Punisher is supposed to be kinda gun porn against the bad guys, IMO.

I don't think this is The Punisher.

IMO this series should be called PTSDNCIS or something.

IMO I would have liked a series that mostly focused on the stories of the bad guys. Developing the bad guy characters, along with the Punisher having to figure out their life, infiltrate it, and continually disrupt it until everyone is dead.

IMO The Punisher is Jaws, and the bad guys are the ones needing a bigger boat.

I don't need that big of a back story for the shark, I just want to see it pop out occasionally, scare and chomp on the people in the boat. I do want to see Jaws making contingency plans in case the people have scuba tanks and a rifle. I do want to see Jaws getting new teeth, inventing new ways to chomp.
I do want to see why the people are in the boat, how they got the boat, what they do when they figure out the boat's not working for them, and what happens when Jaws eats the captain and a new captain is needed and wants to get revenge on Jaws.

I don't want to see why Jaws is so sad, his shark buddies, or his potential love interest, or how he was duped by other sharks to be a better shark, and crap like that, or moralizing his eating habits.


...I didn't like The Punisher show on Netflix.
