Have you ever been to Findhorn Crystal? Beautiful place and you can see the ospreys fishing too and of course the spiritual retreat! OT - Hanover - Germany Nope, but if I do get to go to Scotland I do intend to go to the north as I want to visit Culloden. Might indeed visit the Findhorn retreat too. Have you been there? OT Inverness - Scotland Yes I have been to Findhorn many times but only visited the retreat once. It's occupied by hippies (right up my street hehe) and they have a shop on site which sells natural products. I guess it's really a caravan park. Culloden is not very far from there either. I love the Highlands and spent a lot of time there in the past. Beautiful scenery too and full of history. Hope you get the chance to visit it someday  OT Jerusalem, Israel Wonderful! I've got that book on Findhorn, a friend lend it to me years ago, but somehow I couldn't get through it. I have remembered that they work with energy there to make crops and plants grow that normally couldn't grow there in the natural circumstances. Hippies can be cool :) Have you been to Culloden too? Not much to see there as it's open ground (a moor) but the Culloden Information Centre is a good place to visit as it gives you all the history about the battle. Very insightful and thought provoking. Worth a visit though. OT London, UK Yes, I know there isn't much there, but I want to feel it. I also have a strong feeling I should go there alone, so even if I had a partner I wouldn't want him to come with me. Weird huh? Maybe I won't feel a thing, I don't know. But it's as if I have there's loose ends there for me. Maybe I lost someone there in a past life. I just want to be there, just 'be', feel, and honour all the Scots who gave their life in that horrible battle. OT - Roermond - Netherlands |
