I've currently got 46. There sure are a lot of young girls who claim they want to hang with a guy old enough to be their grandfather! I must have blocked at least a dozen tonight alone, probably more. What are they after? Money? ID? Make a fool of me?

Does it really matter?

Mutual match has ONLY been meant as a game. A fun way to connect. People will get matches 2 ways

1. Computer generated by your search criteria

2. Members can manually match by going to a profile and click match with

Don't rely on mm. It has never been meant for nothing more than a game

I knew this long before I came to M2.

There are quite a few spam emails that get generated by dating site notifications.
Some are really good, just egging you to click.
Most recently "Stop Sending Me Your Photos"
Spammy enticements only work on people that do not know better.

Any count of activity on your profile at dating sites is inaccurate. More-so on free dating sites. If your self-esteem is so low that those numbers hold significance I would suggest you do some soul searching and figure out the reality you are seeing.
Most of us know (from experience) that those logged numbers mean absolutely nothing.
Its the 'one on one' messaging that signifies importance and only when it results in an actual face to face meet.
Because, unless you are a 'player' actual dating is the reason for participating in the dating search.

Participating in forums can be a dating aid because your participation indicates your personality in how you respond to others.
If you are playing a personification, it can be fun but it defeats the dating aspect of the site. There are other sites on the internet that thrive on personifications.

This is about letting potential matches know who you are. Your profile works in conjunction with your forum personality. If it doesn't, you will reap what you sow.
